It’s not only in Montmartre that artists take to the skies with Paris Street Art! Welcome to the Butte-aux-Cailles, a historic district that has gone from being a land of cultures to a privileged terrain for counter-cultures.
Rising 63 metres above the hustle and bustle of the city, the Butte-aux-Cailles district has the air of a country village. Once covered with fields, woods and mills, it has gradually developed around the Bièvre River thanks to craft and industrial activities.
Wearing comfortable shoes is strongly recommended. In the event of bad weather making the visit impossible, Cultival reserves the right to postpone the visit.
School level(s): Middle school, High school
It is recommended to arrive 15 minutes in advance with your reservation form, printed or on your smartphone.
We also offer a visit on the theme of the Freemasons.

It’s not only in Montmartre that artists take to the skies! Welcome to the Butte-aux-Cailles, a historic district that has gone from being a land of cultures to a privileged terrain for counter-cultures. Its bucolic atmosphere has made it a paradise for walkers, but also for street artists who leave their ephemeral works on its walls.
As with all monuments, school and summer holidays are very busy. As the number of seats per opening hour (per guide) is limited, we invite you to book your seat as soon as possible for a weekend visit and at least two weeks in advance for a weekday visit.
The meeting point is at the Corvisart Metro station, 51 boulevard Auguste Blanqui (exit n°2).
